// what it is

What it is

p2soc converts a Raspberry Pi 5 into an always-on SOC or NOC video wall for the price of a single-board computer. It boots straight into a taskbar-less desktop showing four draggable browser windows in a 2×2 grid, each pointed at a different web panel on a different IP or port.

Each panel auto-logs in from a local secrets vault and keeps the session alive, re-logging-in when it drops — so the wall stays showing live dashboards without anyone babysitting it.

// capabilities

What it does

2×2 panel grid

Four draggable browser windows on one HDMI display, each a different dashboard.

Auto-login

Signs each panel in from a local secrets vault on boot.

Session keep-alive

Detects dropped sessions and re-logs-in, so the wall never goes blank.

Kiosk boot

Taskbar-less desktop that comes straight up on power — no operator setup.

Cheap hardware

Runs on a Raspberry Pi 5 (1 GB) with WebKitGTK + Chromium rendering.

Any web panel

Wazuh, Grafana, Zabbix, a camera feed — anything with a web UI.

// what you pay for

Support, not a paywall

Open source (GPLv3). What you pay for is a configured wall tuned to your panels.

  • Installation & configuration help — stood up in your environment and tuned to your setup and rules of engagement.
  • Bug fixes & improvements, prioritised for you — issues you hit move to the front of the queue.
  • Customisation — new modules, integrations or behaviour built for your targets. You keep the source.
  • A direct line to the engineer who wrote it — no support tier in between.

// the fine print

Terms & liability

As-is, without warranty. Open-source defensive tooling you deploy and run. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cyber Sec and Stephan Botes accept no liability for any damage, data loss or disruption arising from its use.

What the fee buys. The engineer’s time — installation, tuning, documentation and support. You keep the source.
